This Privacy Policy explains how ProjectHome.sg handles personal data collected through the website at https://projecthome.sg, our enquiry forms, WhatsApp channels, email correspondence and related advisory services. By using the site or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy.
ProjectHome.sg is a publishing brand operated by Jason Sim and Renee Lim, salespersons registered with the Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) under Huttons Asia Pte Ltd (Agency Licence No: L3008899K). Where you engage us for property advisory or transaction services, Huttons Asia’s own privacy policy and CEA practice guidelines also apply.
2. Personal data we collect
We only collect what we genuinely need to respond to you and improve our content. This may include:
- Identity & contact details — name, email address, phone number, preferred messaging channel (e.g. WhatsApp).
- Enquiry information — the message you send us, your buying timeline, property type of interest, budget range, household profile, and similar context you voluntarily share.
- Technical & usage data — IP address, device type, browser, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, and similar analytics signals collected via cookies and Google Analytics.
- Communication records — copies of emails, WhatsApp chats and meeting notes generated in the course of our advisory relationship.
We do not knowingly collect NRIC, FIN, passport or financial account numbers via the website. If a property transaction reaches a stage where such data is legally required (e.g. CDD/AML checks, OTP, mortgage referral), it will be collected separately under Huttons Asia’s regulated process, not through this site.
3. How we collect it
- Directly from you — when you submit the contact form, WhatsApp us, email us, or download a guide.
- Automatically — through cookies, analytics scripts and server logs when you visit the site.
- From third parties — for example, if you were referred to us by an existing client (with your consent) or interact with us through a public platform (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
4. Why we use your data
We use your personal data only for purposes that are reasonable in the circumstances, including:
- Responding to your enquiry, scheduling consultations and following up on questions you have raised.
- Providing requested resources — e.g. the 7 Steps Buyer Framework, NAVIS PrimeKey Analysis report, market reports and new launch updates.
- Sending occasional updates (new launches, quarterly market notes) where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Maintaining records of advice given, in line with our professional obligations as CEA-registered salespersons.
- Improving our content, understanding how the site is used, and detecting abuse or fraud.
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations, including the PDPA, the Estate Agents Act and CEA Practice Guidelines.
5. Legal basis & consent
We rely on your consent (given when you submit a form or tick a subscription box) and on the reasonable, legitimate and deemed-consent grounds permitted under the PDPA. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 12. Once consent is withdrawn we will stop using your data for the relevant purpose, although certain records may be retained where required by law.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, and only with parties bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations:
- Huttons Asia Pte Ltd — our licensed estate agency, where the enquiry relates to a property transaction or advisory engagement.
- Service providers — hosting (Cloudflare), analytics (Google Analytics), email and messaging tools, and CRM platforms used to manage enquiries.
- Developers, bankers and conveyancing lawyers — only where you have asked us to make an introduction or facilitate a transaction.
- Regulators and authorities — where disclosure is required by law (e.g. CEA, IRAS, court order).
Where data is transferred outside Singapore (for example to overseas servers used by our service providers), we take reasonable steps to ensure that comparable protection to the PDPA is in place.
7. Cookies & analytics
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: keeping the site functional, remembering simple preferences, and measuring traffic via Google Analytics (gtag.js). Analytics cookies help us understand which guides are useful so we can write better ones — they do not identify you personally.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings or by using Google’s opt-out tools. Some site features may not work fully without cookies.
8. How long we keep your data
We retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law:
- Enquiry records — up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless an advisory relationship is ongoing.

- Transaction-related records — for the minimum period required under the Estate Agents Act and CEA rules (currently a minimum of 3 years).
- Website analytics — retained per Google Analytics default settings.
9. How we protect your data
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, modification or disclosure. These include encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls on enquiry inboxes, vetted service providers, and a policy of collecting only what we need. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
10. Your rights under the PDPA
Subject to the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Withdraw consent — for any specific use of your data, including marketing.
- Unsubscribe — from any marketing message via the link in the email, or by replying STOP to a WhatsApp marketing message.
We aim to respond to verified requests within 30 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests where permitted by the PDPA.
11. Third-party links
The site links to external resources such as URA, HDB, CEA, developer sites, news outlets and YouTube. Once you leave projecthome.sg, this Privacy Policy no longer applies; please review the privacy policies of those sites separately.
12. Children
Our services are intended for adults considering property decisions in Singapore. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements or other factors. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the website.
